![]() It is now thursday and I have collected Clockmaster's Tooth, Ribcleave, Magus Scream, Starfall's Command, two Riftplane Destroyers, Shards of Cobalt and finally Dispatch. I wrote it off as unbelievably good luck, considering I've read so many people lamenting about playing 300 hours and never finding any legendaries. I started writing this guide on sunday, and had found two legendaries at that point in this area. I'm adding this small section now that I've concluded that it isn't just a fluke: farming the lava phase beast on NG+++ with magic find nets you at least one legendary per two inventories. If you just slap on whatever you find that looks good, chances are you'll get through most of the content without a hitch. Running up to the Emberweave set, you could opt to cobble together a viable variation of the Wildwood set. You can have all that stuff in three or four lazy evenings. If you think this sounds prohibitively expensive, then know that both getting the skulls and the set is a trivial exercise if you follow this guide to the letter. ![]() I also use some Chaos embers with movement speed. Combine the HP with 75% block and nothing will kill you on NG+++ normal. This might have to do that I have socketed most of it with Riechliu skulls (they give 1540 hp), netting me a total hp of 21,000. Incidentally, even though Emberweave's a lvl 70 set it will carry you to lvl 100 effortlessly, as well as through all battles in Tarroch's Tomb. I do not go into detail about the general gear because you can ultimately use whatever you like since you a) wont use it during the farming itself and b) it doesn't have to get you through the endgame content so it doesn't need too much thought/tweaking. I use some unique belt I found and have put zero thought into. I use The Centerwing for the cast speed as well as a wand with cast speed. I use the Emberweave set, a lvl 70 unique set that you will be able to obtain in the course of your farming sessions. Writing this I realize this is the point of any ARPG gear ever, but keep in mind that Im talking about normal difficulty, so the bar is not set very high. For efficiency's sake, use something that doesn't get you killed but lets you mow down monsters at a good pace. I'm still working on diffrent builds for the outlander class so its only a matter of time to find a build I like.īut so for easiest for me has been engie with the heal bot and all the other nice toys in that spec. The goal of the general gear is to get you through the non-farming areas. In boss fights its real pain in the ass with any adds the boss has, unlike in other games like WoW the pet in this game is not much of a tank for an outlander. You would think so but I find engi to be a bit easier then Outlander, I rolled an Outlander as my second chara and against individual targets outlander is fine, but when you get in those monster pile ups you pretty much have to tuck tail and run, switch to a CC weapon like the shotgun and pray nothings loops behind you or comes from the side. But let's be real, ranged DPS always have the best survivability. And just like all of them, I'll have angry Outlander player now replying and saying how much skill it takes, etc etc etc. Just like in Diablo 3 it was the Demon Hunter. Originally posted by Nacho Chilli Chez:From the looks of it, by best, you mean easiest. she was completely worthless until you found a bow with knockback and high attack speed. you had to be suicidal to select that fragile, ridiculously-low-damage chick. he was far from easy or noob-friendly, but the hardest was Rogue. Speaking of Diablo 1, Sorceror started weakest, but then got Mana Shield + Apocalypse + enough mana to cast both, and became unstoppable even at Hell difficulty.īut you did need to know what you're doing to get to that point, because any monster who got close would own you. I will have to play both classes more, but so far the Outlander doesn't even come close. From the few skills that I have tried so far, Embermage has some ridiculous damage potential. The point I am getting at is it isn't always the bow user, and I don't think Outlander is going to take the title. Sorceress from D2 and Paladin with enigma from D2. In which case, you forgot several examples of games that date farther back. In other words, able to deal the most damage while avoiding the most damage. ![]()
